Four Guys Who Never Outgrew the Music

How a love for 1950s vocal harmony turned into a second career on stage.

It Started at a Barbershop

Not a barbershop quartet. An actual barbershop. Four guys waiting for haircuts, humming along to an oldies station, and realizing they sounded pretty good together. That was the beginning of 4 Guyz.

None of us set out to become performers. We had day jobs, families, mortgages. But doo-wop has a way of pulling you in. Once you lock into a four-part harmony on "In the Still of the Night," you cannot just walk away from that feeling.

We started singing at local events for fun. Then people started offering to pay us. Then festivals started booking us. Somewhere along the way, the hobby became a second calling.

We still do this because we love it. Every show, every crowd, every time someone in the audience mouths along to a song they have not heard in decades, that is the whole point.

Why People Keep Booking Us

Authentic Sound

No auto-tune, no backing tracks, no smoke machines. Four voices doing what doo-wop was meant to be. The audience can hear the difference, and that is what keeps them engaged.

Crowd Connection

We do not just perform at people. We talk to the crowd, take requests when we can, and make sure everyone from the front row to the back fence is part of the show.

Easy to Work With

We show up on time, bring a good attitude, and handle our own logistics. Event planners do not need to babysit us. You have enough to worry about on event day.
